Væbnermesterskabet
1500 teenagers attempt to complete 45 posts around Copenhagen in patrols of 4-7 people. We will also be hosting 2 Scottish patrols and are looking for FDF leaders to shadow them and translate at the posts.
At VM25 we will have 4 Scottish patrols taking part. The International Forums events team have the mandate to facilitate the integration of these international teams to the VM.
We will provide a simutainious translation system (similar to what we use at national camp) for the common moments of the opening ceremony, closing ceremony and service. However for the main part of the VM, running around Copenhagen, completing the posts and navigating the S tog system we would like to put an FDF senior or leader as a translator with each of the Scottish patrols.
Could you be one of the FDFers who want to play the role of host for the VM, for Copenhagen and for FDF to these international patrols?
We are looking for 4 FDFers 16+ in total who will be enthuiastic, bring good vibes, not only translate the Danish but also the context of common tasks in FDF that would be unknown to these young people. We expect you to also take part fully in the posts without dominating or
In return you get to see the VM through the eyes of an international participant, build a close relationship with international leaders and young people, plus get a ring side view of how they interpret and attack the challenges that VM has to offer.
